IS JOPHIEL'S CHARA NAME ACTUALLY CAROLINE OR IS THAT JUST THE SONG INSPO? CUZ EVERYONE IN THE SERIES JUST CALLS HER JOPHIEL BUT THE WIKI SAYS CAROLINE?? SO I GOT CONFUSED & SECOND-GUESSED MYSELF. now i don't know which name is appropriate 😭 i'll just continue calling her jophiel until i get far enough in the series to figure it out... something similar happened with cyn, where most characters called her 'cyn' but the signature in her own journal said 'cynikka' so i didn't know which to choose DKJkjdiojKSDHSkhdjkJ. should be a greatly easy fix so i'll certainly reupload this art w fixes later if needed.

• jawhn's eyes, i think they r RLY striking. some personal design notes also: jawhn is the shortest of the group but he's the bulkiest imho. in the first few eps he only wielded a frying pan and so his swings musta HITTT. i wish i pushed his build more, he's way more square-shaped to me.
• joph's side-bangs & the lower half of her hair, i lauuuve the shapes. i changed the dam hair 1 billion times, it was originally meant to be pointier and in lightning-shapes, i SO need to bring that back next time. she's got a cassock-style robe and her sword is meant to look like a sconce. her mc sword model is super long and impractical-looking imo, so i headcanon her fighting style is more calculated and slow rather than instinctual, purely to work around the limitations of her weapon. she NEEDS to kill in one singular swing. if push come to shove tho she's probably also got a MEAAAN kick lol.
• cyn's bangs, i think it's so damn cute how it falls over her eyes lol. narratively works as a defense mechanism - i'd always perceived her as more a runner than fighter, so hair always over her eyes helps so untrustworthy people can't read her from afar. when speaking w the people she cares about, she pushes the bangs out. her clothes r also athletic, she's got a runner's knee brace too.
• woogie's stupid fucking double buns, it's such an odd choice but my favorite design choice in this sheet LOL. also, i don't see enough fanart has him with stubble, his MC skin's snout had a more dark patch so decided to draw him with one. i attempted to reference tactical armor for him and got shot one billon times.
• the weight of zora's trenchcoat. i have always hated drawing long coats so making it bulky made it tolerable LOL. the asymmetry in her design rocks, she's probably my favorite design here. also don't know if anyone can tell, but her second belt is a harness for her axe :] ...i forgot her crown thou... next time i draw her i promise i'll bring it back
