1: Minimally cel-shaded character illustration

3: Blind box (sketchy render)

Up to a little gambling for a slightly reduced price? I got u.

For the price of $20 and as much or as little information of your character as you like to give me, I will give for you in return: a halfbody partial-render illustration based on my interpretation of the lore you give me. No revisions, no WIP updates, the final product will be a complete surprise... like a blind box!

A minimal background is included free of charge with your artwork. A minimal background can include but is not limited to, simple shapes/patterns/textures, simple props, typography, posterized photo, or none to the buyer's liking.

Optional paid add-ons

Add an extra character to the drawing = +25% of base price per extra character
Inclusion of complex character or prop (ie. mecha or layered armor) = +$4-10, negotiable depending on complexity.
Render the background = +$4-10, negotiable depending on complexity of the request.

General

I reserve the right to decline your commission for whatever reason
After the commission is finished, I may showcase it on my personal website (sachersketchbook) for promotion and engagement. If you don't want to see it posted, let me know.
These commissions are for personal use only. Any commercial or monetized use must be discussed with me before I begin work, in which additional fees may be applied depending on the nature of the monetized content. (For my definition of commercial use, see the 'Rights & Usage' section below.)
Reproductions or alterations of the final piece for monetary purposes such as, but not limited to, NFTs, blockchain and/or crypto, AI work or AI data training or resale are NOT permitted. Violation of this will lead to a permanent blacklist for future pieces and loss of rights to artwork.
Once work has begun or payments have been made, the client acknowledges work and deliverables are digital and there are no physically shipped goods to receive.

Subject matter

Explicit NSFW, hate speech, sensitive or political topics, non-anthro animals, art in someone else's style	Pinups/mildly suggestive, blood/gore, anthro, OCs, fandom characters, real life people (exceptions vary).

Feel free to run things by me if you're unsure of something.

Payment

After the client requests for a commission, I will reach out to discuss initial concepts and produce a round of concept sketches. After the client approves of a concept sketch and I am ready to begin rendering, I will send an invoice/proposal/payment link to the client.

Clients must not send money before I send the request. Invoices must be paid within 72 hours once the link is sent, or the project may be cancelled.

Payment is done 100% upfront.
Refunds are not accepted. Please order from me only if you are sure of your request.

Attempted refunds or charge-backs without prior discussion will result in a blacklist.

Rights and Usage

CLIENT RIGHTS

The product is licensed exclusively to the client for their personal use. Client is free to:

Produce digital or physical (ie. print) end products for personal enjoyment
Display on social media for non-commercial and non-monetized purposes such as profile pictures, banners, and posts, and display as part of designs on websites and channels, excluding use in content of these websites or channels.

Client must not claim the product as their own. When displaying the product on websites, please credit the artist's display name (any variation of @embersacher, ember sācher, or sachersketchbook is OK).

ARTIST RIGHTS	COMMERCIAL RIGHTS
I retain copyright, ownership, redistribution and intellectual property rights to the product. This includes, but is not limited to, displaying the product on websites, social media, portfolios, for use of advertizing and more, unless already agreed upon.	Commercial usage of the product is not included and may require a separate agreement and additional fee. Commercial rights cover any usage that is monetized, including resale to another party, or usage in branding, merchandise, streaming/monetized content (overlays, emotes, thumbnail), or as inclusion with any other product.

Workflow/Revisions/Delivery

Estimated turnaround time is 1-4 weeks. The process may fluctuate if the request is complex, if so, the client will be notified ahead of time. Updates can be expected every 3-5 days, response times may vary.
The finished product will be delivered via email.
Ongoing communication & discussion will occur thought the project. The client will be updated and sent progress images at each major point of the drawing process (thumbnails/concept sketches → early renders → final render), where the client will be able to give feedback, ideas, or suggest revisions. Work-in-progress updates will however not be provided if you chose the "Blind box" style commission.
Minor revisions during any point of the drawing process are free of charge. Minor revisions include but are not limited to: fixing missing design details, accessories details, blending mode adjustments.
Major revisions are only accepted during the concept sketch phase. For any major revisions requested after the approval of a concept sketch, there will be an additional +$10 cost per revision. Major revisions include but are not limited to: pose, lighting, color scheme changes, detailed clothing changes, adding/removing a character, and changing the scene/background.
